Modular and self-build construction in Sussex

Tidal Drift supports self-build and modular projects with technical construction expertise, practical consultancy and hands-on delivery. Working alongside homeowners, architects and project teams, we help with buildability, detailing, site setup, project coordination and construction delivery. The result is greater confidence, tighter cost control and reduced on-site disruption.

How it works

Modular construction and self-build sit on the same axis: more work happens off-site or upfront, and that pays back in shorter programmes, tighter cost control, and less disruption on site.

We work with clients who want the budget discipline of a structured package: modular timber-frame elements, kits, factory-built components, combined with the bespoke finish of a traditional build.

For self-builders, we can come in at any point: early advisory on plot, planning, and contractor selection; through to delivering structural carpentry and weather-tight envelopes you finish yourself or bring in trades for.

Either way, the goal is the same: a high-specification home you couldn't get from a volume housebuilder, on a timeline and budget you can plan around.
