Most of our extension work is for design-led homeowners and architects who already know the standard contractor-led process won't deliver what they want.
We come in early, often before planning, to advise on detailing, structural opportunities, and where the brief and budget meet.

Recent project
From a 1980s conservatory to an artist’s studio
A polycarbonate conservatory that was too cold in winter and too hot in summer, replaced with a 48 m² insulated extension: zinc standing-seam roof, redwood cladding and black-framed glazing. Designed by Jake White Architecture, built by us.
Our extension has transformed the whole house seamlessly. I now have the perfectly lit exhibition space I had only dreamed of. Outside, the timber cladding and zinc look so contemporary, elevating the whole facade. But most of all Tidal Drift were so attentive to every detail throughout the build.
